The Brilliant World of Tom Gates
‘The Brilliant World of Tom Gates’ is based on the popular book series written by Liz Pichon.
Working with Wild Child Animation as Lead Motion Graphics Artist, I collaborated with the director and art director to help establish the graphical flourishes, title sequences, interstitial graphics and games throughout the BAFTA award-winning series.
Liz’s iconic illustrations are so full of energy and life which presented a really fun and interesting challenge solving how to adapt them for motion. We wanted everything to feel alive and playfully chaotic.
